Job Summary
Endoscopy Technician needed at Center for Digestive Health in Valparaiso, IN to support endoscopic procedures, prepare rooms, disinfect equipment, monitor supplies, and assist the procedural team under RN supervision. Requires knowledge of endoscopic procedures, infection control, and equipment maintenance; 0-2 years healthcare experience; BCLS certification; preferred completion of an accredited endoscopy or sterile processing program and CMA/CNA/CPCT credentials. On-site role with clinical duties including patient transport, documentation, scheduling support, and adherence to safety protocols.
Required Qualifications
- 0-2 years of healthcare experience required
- BCLS - Basic Life Support required
- Completion of accredited Endoscopy Technician or sterile processing program preferred
- State SGNA course within six months of employment (Indiana) preferred or required
Desired Qualifications
- Completion of accredited Endoscopy Technician or sterile processing program preferred
- 0-2 years of healthcare experience required
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)-AAMA preferred or CNA preferred or Certified Patient Care Technician (CPCT) preferred
- BCLS - Basic Life Support required
- State SGNA course within six months of employment (Indiana)
- Knowledge of endoscopic procedures, equipment maintenance, and disinfection protocols
- Strong aseptic technique and infection control knowledge
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
- Proficiency in using communication tools to address concerns and resolve issues
