Job Summary
Responsible for delivering patient-centered care through the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation process during endoscopy procedures. Administers sedation and necessary medications, keeps patients informed throughout procedures, and provides direct patient care to meet physical and psychological needs. Participates in endoscope decontamination, equipment maintenance, data collection, and department activities such as training, quality assurance, and education; may assist with records, statistics, and staff meetings. Requires BS or AAS in Nursing with applicable experience and a valid NYS RN license with BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications.
Required Qualifications
- BS in Nursing with 2-4 years of experience preferred
- AAS in Nursing with 3-5 years of experience preferred
- Current NYS RN license in good standing
- BLS, ACLS & PALS certification
