Endoscopy/ CSSD Technician - Part-time

Job Summary
Decontaminate and clean specialised Endoscopy equipment and surgical instrumentation while ensuring all sterilising standards and infection control measures are adhered to. Manage documentation, enter sterilisation data, and ensure equipment and stock are available for Perioperative staff. Promote a culture of continuous improvement across the hospital. You will work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary healthcare team to support patient care needs and deliver exceptional clinical outcomes. This part-time role requires a minimum of 64 hours per fortnight with a Monday to Friday flexible roster, no on-call, and no public holidays, including three weeks closed over the Christmas/New Year period. Pre-screening includes a criminal history check and immunisation aligned with state health standards.
Required Qualifications

- Must have experience in Endoscopy and minor procedures
- Cert III or Cert IV in Sterilisation
- Certification in GENCA training
- Proven experience in endoscopy and surgical instrumentation
- Knowledge of sterilisation procedures and practices
- Sound working knowledge of NSQHS standards and AS 5369:2023 and Infection Control standards
- Demonstrated ability to organise the sterilisation needs of the operating and procedure room requirements
