Job Summary
Diagnose and treat pulpal and periapical conditions using evidence-based endodontic techniques, including root canal therapy, retreatment, pulpotomies, and apicoectomies. Utilize digital radiography for treatment planning, educate patients on care options, and maintain accurate clinical documentation in electronic health records. Collaborate with general dentists to coordinate care plans while adhering to strict infection control protocols. This part-time, as-needed role offers flexible scheduling of 1-2 days monthly on Mondays or Saturdays, with no on-call or after-hours expectations. Malpractice coverage is provided, and the position includes steady referrals from military base clinics.
Required Qualifications
- DDS or DMD from an accredited U.S. dental program
- Completion of an accredited Endodontics residency program
- Active, unrestricted state dental license
- CPR/BLS Certification
- DEA license (if applicable)
- Ability to pass criminal background check, drug screening, and obtain Real ID for military base access
