Job Summary
Diagnose and treat pulpal and periapical conditions using evidence-based endodontic techniques, including root canal therapy, retreatment, pulpotomies, and apicoectomies. Utilize digital radiography for treatment planning and educate patients on diagnosis, options, and post-operative care. Maintain accurate clinical documentation in electronic health records and collaborate with general dentists to coordinate care plans. Uphold strict infection control and sterilization protocols in compliance with CDC and OSHA standards. This part-time role offers two Saturdays per month with no on-call or after-hours expectations. Malpractice coverage is provided, and the position includes a steady referral base from clinics on Army and Air Force bases.
Required Qualifications
- DDS or DMD from an accredited U.S. dental program
- Completion of an accredited Endodontics residency program
- Active, unrestricted state dental license
- CPR/BLS Certification
- DEA license (if applicable)
- Ability to pass criminal background check, drug screening, and obtain Real ID for military base access
