Job Summary
Perform root canal therapy, retreatment, and apical surgery procedures while diagnosing and treating diseases of the dental pulp and periapical tissues. Collaborate with general dentists and specialists to develop treatment plans, communicate effectively with patients regarding oral health decisions, and maintain accurate records in the Dentrix system. Ensure all clinical work complies with relevant laws and ethical standards. Requires a D.D.S. or D.M.D. degree, advanced endodontics education, and an active license. This part-time role utilizes state-of-the-art technology including iTero scanners and AI tools within Legacy Dental Care's established North Huntingdon office.
Required Qualifications
- D.D.S. or D.M.D. degree from an accredited dental school
- Successful completion of an advanced education program In Endodontics
- Active and unrestricted dental license
- Ability and willingness to become credentialed with various dental insurance plans
- Demonstrate the ability to perform essential duties satisfactorily
- Capability of lifting and carrying up to 45 pounds
- Availability to attend periodic virtual training sessions (or in-person when required)
- Completion of a tuberculosis (TB) test
