Job Summary
Endocrinology opportunity serving Veterans in Indianapolis, Indiana at the Richard L. Roudebush VA Medical Center. The role involves leading education for fellows, residents, and medical students through hands-on teaching and clinical leadership within an interdisciplinary team delivering both inpatient and outpatient endocrine care. The position offers potential for academic appointment with Indiana University School of Medicine, collaborative research opportunities, a balanced M-F schedule with minimal call, and a comprehensive federal benefits package. Qualifications include MD or DO, completed ACGME residency, ABMS board eligibility or certification in Endocrinology, and an active unrestricted US medical license; candidate may have completed Endocrinology fellowship BE/BC. Compensation includes regular increases and an annual performance bonus up to $15,000, extensive PTO, retirement plan, malpractice protection, and comprehensive health insurance. The location is Noblesville, Indiana, with primary work at a VA Medical Center in Indianapolis area.
Required Qualifications
- MD or DO degree
- Completed an ACGME accredited residency
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in an American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS) specialty
- Current full and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in the United States
- Desire completion of Endocrinology fellowship and BE/BC in Endocrinology
