Job Summary

Assess and record patient vital signs, prepare patients for examinations, and administer medications while maintaining strict confidentiality. Greet patients with compassion, obtain prior authorizations, and serve as a Health Educator within the Patient-Centered Medical Home model. Sterilize instruments, manage contaminated supplies, and ensure exam rooms are stocked and equipment is operational. Perform customer service checks every ten minutes, mail labs, and communicate with providers to address patient needs. Mentor new staff and maintain Health Department vaccination records. Work in a team environment to improve the clinical experience and care delivery.

Required Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • LPN license or MA Certification by the state in which employed
  • 0 -2 years LPN experience
  • CPR certified
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with others
  • Ability to communicate with others to exchange or express information and ideas
  • Ability to receive detailed information through oral communication
  • Ability to make fine distinctions in sounds
  • Ability to determine the accuracy, neatness, thoroughness of the work assigned
  • Ability to perceive general observations
  • Ability to remain upright on the feet, particularly 75% of the time
  • Ability to move about on foot to accomplish tasks
  • Ability to bend body downward and forward by bending spine at the waist and/ or by bending leg and spine
  • Ability to extend the hands and arms in any direction
  • Ability to exert force upon an object so that an object moves away/toward the force
  • Ability to pick, pinch, type or otherwise work, primarily with fingers
  • Ability to apply pressure to an object with the fingers and palm
