Job Summary
Endocrinologists sought to join Northwell Health’s Harbor View Medical Services in Port Jefferson and Stony Brook, NY. Ideal candidates are Board Certified/Board Eligible in Endocrinology, Diabetes & Metabolism with a strong interest in both outpatient and inpatient care, and a willingness to participate in teaching and interdisciplinary collaboration within a growing academic group affiliated with Mather Hospital. The role includes clinical duties across outpatient and inpatient settings, collaboration with residents, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, and certified diabetes educators, and integration within a large health system delivering patient-centered care on Long Island.
Required Qualifications
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in Endocrinology, Diabetes & Metabolism
- Strong interest in outpatient and inpatient settings
- Ability to work with residents and teaching faculty
- Interdisciplinary team collaboration (Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, Certified Diabetic Educators)
- Experience in academic medical environment (teaching, clinical care, research)
