Job Summary
Endocrinologist physician sought to join Northwell Health’s Harbor View Medical Services (Port Jefferson/Stony Brook, NY) for a role with both outpatient and inpatient responsibilities. Ideal candidates will be Board Certified/Eligible in Endocrinology, Diabetes & Metabolism and will participate in teaching and academic programs, collaborating with residents, NPs, PAs, and Certified Diabetic Educators. The team operates within a multi-specialty environment including cardiology, family and internal medicine, neurology, and vascular surgery, serving Long Island communities. The department emphasizes quality patient care, education, and equity of care, with base compensation in a broad range reflective of experience and productivity.
Required Qualifications
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in Endocrinology, Diabetes & Metabolism
- strong interest in outpatient and inpatient settings
- ability to work with residents and be part of teaching faculty
- ability to work with interdisciplinary team including NPs, PAs, and Certified Diabetic Educators
- employment at Harbor View Medical Services/Mather Hospital (Northwell Health)
