Job Summary
Endocrinologist opportunity at Luminis Health in Maryland seeking board-certified/board-eligible physicians to join an expanding endocrinology department. Essential duties include performing age-appropriate patient care, supervising and writing orders for procedures, overseeing medication protocols, ensuring clear documentation of care and incidents, dictating patient care notes and complying with medical records requirements, and overseeing the Endocrinology Department across multiple counties (Prince George's, Anne Arundel, Talbot, and Queen Anne's). Generous loan support and/or sign-on bonus are available. Ideal candidates are proficient in managing care from adolescence through geriatrics and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an Accredited School of Medicine (Doctor degree)
- Completion of Residency in specified field of Specialty
- Board Certified in Internal Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine
- Specialty Board Certified or Board-Eligible in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism by the American Board of Internal Medicine
- Possess current and unrestricted license to practice medicine in Maryland (DEA license)
