Job Summary
Endocrinologist sought to join the growing endocrinology department in Maryland. Responsibilities include supervising and writing orders for medical procedures, prescribing referrals when indicated, overseeing medication protocols, ensuring clear and timely documentation of care and incidents, dictating patient care notes, and overseeing the Endocrinology Department across multiple counties (Prince George's, Anne Arundel, Talbot, and Queen Anne's). Requires MD from an accredited medical school, residency in the field, Board Certified in Internal Medicine, and Specialty Board Certified or Board-Eligible in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism, plus a current Maryland license. Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an Accredited School of Medicine (Doctor degree)
- Residency completed in specified field of Specialty
- Board Certified in Internal Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine
- Specialty Board Certified or Board-Eligible in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism by the American Board of Internal Medicine
- Current and unrestricted medical license to practice in Maryland (DEA license)
