Job Summary
Endocrinologist opportunity at Luminis Health in Maryland. Join a growing endocrinology department that includes 5 physicians, 1 nurse practitioner, and 1 physician assistant. Responsibilities include performing duties per established standards across age groups (adolescence through geriatrics), supervising and writing orders for medical procedures, overseeing medication protocols, coordinating documentation and incident reporting, dictating patient care notes to ensure timely medical records, and overseeing the Endocrinology department across multiple counties (Prince George's, Anne Arundel, Talbot, and Queen Anne's). Board certification in Internal Medicine with specialty board certification or eligibility in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism is required, along with an active Maryland license. Generous loan support and/or sign-on bonus are available. Locations noted include Annapolis, Greenbelt, and Easton in Maryland. Equal opportunity employer.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an Accredited School of Medicine (Doctor degree)
- Completion of Residency in specified field of Specialty
- Board Certified in Internal Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine
- Specialty Board Certified or Board-Eligible in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism by the American Board of Internal Medicine
- Possess current and unrestricted license to practice medicine in Maryland (DEA license)
