Job Summary
Endocrinologist position at the Memphis VA Medical Center with a dual academic appointment at UTHSC. Responsibilities include providing consultation on endocrine diseases in inpatient and outpatient settings, clinical practice supervision/teaching of fellows, residents, and medical students, and shared attending call duties. The role encompasses clinical assessment and management of veteran patients, health promotion, disease prevention, clinical research involvement, and education for patients, families, and staff. The candidate will join a large, teaching VA healthcare system with a broad department portfolio and opportunities for academic affiliation and research in endocrinology/diabetic medicine.
Required Qualifications
- MD/DO
- Endocrinology Residency/Fellowship
- Board-Eligible/Board-Certified in Endocrinology (BE/BC)
- Full and unrestricted license from any state
- Current BLS/CPR
- Proficiency in written and spoken English
- US Citizenship
