Job Summary
Diagnose and manage endocrine and metabolic disorders through outpatient evaluations, treatment planning, and follow-up visits for a diverse patient population. Lead long-term disease management and preventive care programs focusing on diabetes, thyroid disorders, metabolic conditions, osteoporosis, and other endocrine diseases. Collaborate with Primary Care Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, and multidisciplinary teams in a full-time, Monday through Friday schedule. Maintain active New York State licensure and DEA registration while delivering comprehensive, patient-centered specialty care within a value-based organization.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Endocrinology
- Completion of Internal Medicine residency and Endocrinology fellowship
- Active or eligible New York State medical license
- DEA registration (or ability to obtain)
- Strong clinical skills in endocrine diagnostics, chronic disease management, and patient education
