Job Summary
Diagnose and manage endocrine disorders including diabetes, thyroid diseases, osteoporosis, and metabolic syndromes through comprehensive patient evaluations and interpretation of specialized laboratory tests. Develop individualized treatment plans involving medication management and lifestyle modifications while educating patients on disease management and preventive care. Collaborate with primary care providers to ensure coordinated patient care, maintain accurate electronic medical records, and participate in quality improvement and population health initiatives. Contribute to community health education and outreach programs focused on diabetes prevention and endocrine awareness.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Medical School
- Completion of approved residency in Endocrinology
- Must be Board Eligible or Board Certified (BE/BC)
- Valid NYS and DEA License
- At least 1-year experience
- Proficient in diagnosing and managing endocrine disorders including diabetes, thyroid diseases, osteoporosis, pituitary and adrenal disorders, and metabolic conditions
- Experience with electronic health records
- Ability to successfully interact and communicate with a diversified population
- Strong clinical judgment
