Job Summary

Provide comprehensive endocrinology care to Veterans in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Participate in ongoing quality improvement initiatives and conduct scholarly activities, with investigators eligible for up to 35% protected research time. Teach and supervise medical students, residents, and fellows from the University of Arizona College of Medicine within a tertiary care center recognized for performance excellence. Maintain American Heart Association BLS certification and adhere to all VA and SAVAHCS regulatory standards. Full-time, permanent Monday-Friday schedule from 8:00am to 4:30pm.

Required Qualifications

  • M.D. or D.O. degree (or equivalent)
  • Board Certified in Endocrinology (ABIM)
  • Eligible for faculty appointment at University of Arizona, commensurate with experience/achievements
  • Current, valid, and unrestricted medical license in any U.S. State or Territory
  • U.S. Citizenship
  • Completion of Residency Training in the USA
  • Maintain American Heart Association BLS certification
  • Abide by VA and SAVAHCS regulatory standards
