Endo Tech, PRN, Days

Assist the physician in the performance of endoscopic procedures and provide appropriate patient care to Ambulatory Care and Endoscopy patients under the direction of the Registered Nurse. Maintain supplies and equipment in the Endoscopy Department in proper working order, cleaning and disinfecting items according to unit and hospital policy. Perform clerical duties to assure optimal function of the department, including assembling and maintaining patient chart material, managing records and files, and completing patient charges. Requires current AHA BLS certification upon hire; preferred qualifications include a GI/OR Technology program, CNA/MA certification, or prior experience as a Unit Secretary.
