Job Summary
Endo Tech needed in One GI's Virginia Beach and Chesapeake GI offices. Responsibilities include setting up and assisting with procedures, transporting endoscopes, scope cleaning and disinfection, documenting each procedure, maintaining loose/stored supplies, and ensuring safe operation under infection-control and regulatory standards (AAAHC, Medicare, OSHA, HIPAA). Additional duties include patient check-in support, vital sign recording, and data collection to assess patient needs. Required: High School graduate, BLS certification, computer proficiency, knowledge of pulse oximetry and blood pressure; ability to move carts and assist patients. Required Qualifications
- High School graduate
- BLS certification required
- Must possess knowledge of acceptable parameters of pulse oximetry and blood pressures, blood borne pathogens and aseptic techniques
- Must have sufficient strength to move carts and assist patients while walking
- Previous medical office experience is preferable
- Must possess knowledge of computers and be proficient with office software
