Job Summary
Endgrain Sprayer in the Finishing Department. Full-time, nonexempt. Responsibilities include learning spray gun setups, adjusting and operating spray equipment, ensuring correct fluid and air setup for spray gun/booth, completing Daily Spray Booth Checkoff, changing filters, using pressure gauges to make decisions, lightly coating edges of raised panel doors, flushing/cleaning pressure pots, following safety guidelines, reading and understanding paperwork, and maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Requires High School Diploma or GED or 1 year of equivalent experience; entry-level role with growth potential.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1 year of equivalent experience
- Must be able to read and understand paperwork and labels
- Must have good hand and eye coordination
- Ability to perform spray functions, handling parts, and operating spray equipment
- Ability to stay-on-task, follow safety guidelines and work process procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be a self-starter who works well and can follow a list of daily work assignments
- Possesses a willingness to learn new ways to enhance productivity
- Must be able to follow directions well and have good attention to detail
- Must be able to endure the extreme heat of summer weather
