Job Summary
End User Support role providing a single point of contact for NEC employees, handling on-site and remote troubleshooting for Windows 10/11, hardware, peripherals, and printers in Hartlepool and the Bracknell area. Responsibilities include diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining desktops and peripherals, resolving issues via in-person, phone, or remote access, documenting problems in the Helpdesk system (ISM), ensuring secure network access for remote users, and contributing to best-practice governance (encryption, file sharing). Requires strong problem-solving, planning, organizing, and communication skills, and the ability to work within customer SOPs and a collaborative team environment. Desirable experience with Active Directory and Microsoft Intune/Entra. Benefits include a comprehensive package and eligibility for a right-to-work in the UK; DBS check may be required.
