Job Summary
Set up, operate, and clean the encapsulation machine while adhering to batch records, SOPs, cGMPs, and HACCP standards. Perform daily changeovers by disassembling, cleaning tumblers and gelatin tanks, and assisting with pump changes. Execute start-up activities, verify fill-weight and temperature variations, and document all in-process checks in production batch records. Monitor softgel production for leaks, ensure proper spreader operation, and report out-of-specification capsules immediately. Maintain equipment safety and initiate maintenance work orders as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
- Wear the required personal protective equipment
- Adhere to gowning procedures
- Operate equipment in a safe manner
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include Close vision, Peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus
- Physical demands require standing for extended periods of time, walking, bending, reaching, carrying, and occasionally lifting and/or moving objects up to 25 pounds
