Job Summary
Carrying out detailed asset checks to support capital design and installation feasibility, alongside maintaining high water quality and ensuring all equipment meets compliance standards. Setting up and operating over pumping solutions for both planned and reactive work, including supporting complex network interventions and valve operations (release, squeezing and maintenance). Working in high-risk environments, including confined spaces, while providing rescue support when required. Supporting a standby rota and out-of-hours work to respond to emergency loss of supply events and deliver key programme work. Strong knowledge of the water network with hands-on operational experience; comfortable in challenging environments (confined spaces, working at height); proactive team player with strong communication and time management skills, able to work independently; full UK driving licence (including towing) and willingness to gain additional licences such as HGV. Nice to have: Experience with valve operations and maintenance; Previous experience within the water industry.
