Job Summary
Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned agencies, regularly scheduling individual training sessions to increase agent knowledge of appointed carriers. Drive consistent production and incremental policy gains by leveraging cross-sale opportunities and executing data-driven growth initiatives. Collaborate with the team to develop best practices while collecting feedback from training sessions to drive continuous improvements. Maintain deep expertise in P&C insurance markets, commission structures, and appointment qualifications to make strategic recommendations. This role supports First Connect's mission to provide consumer-grade software to thousands of active agents working with over 130 carriers.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- 5+ years of P&C experience including working with Independent Agents
- Experience training and developing agency staff
- Must demonstrate ability to problem solve and communicate effectively
- Must be able to understand and review agency qualifications for appointments and make recommendations on appointments
- Experience selling and marketing P&C personal lines and commercial lines
- Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills including conducting formal presentations for small and large groups
- Self motivated
- Ability to collaborate
- Must be able to work autonomously
- Expected to succeed without heavy direction
- Strong intellectual curiosity and desire to problem solve
- Flexible and willing to do what is needed to get great work done
Desired Qualifications
- TDI P&C license and CPCU and/or CIC designation is desirable
