Job Summary
Sushi Chef needed in a fast-paced, high-energy kitchen inside Morrisons (Lincoln, LN6). The role involves preparing fresh ingredients by hand, including raw fish and meat, ensuring accurate allergen-labelling, maintaining cleanliness, and upholding food safety standards. You will work both independently and as part of a team, deliver high-quality sushi, follow brand policies, and participate in ongoing training and development. Required Qualifications
- Experience as a Sushi Chef or similar role in a professional kitchen
- Knowledge of Food Safety and Health & Safety regulations
- Ability to prepare fresh ingredients by hand including raw fish and meat
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Flexibility to work early shifts (from 6:30am)
- Ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization
- Ability to follow brand standards and company policies
- Ability to label accurately per allergen and safety regulations
