Job Summary
As a Baker Chef at Radisson Hotel Group, you will prepare a wide variety of baked goods including bread, pastries, cakes, and desserts according to hotel standards and recipes; ensure consistent quality, presentation, and freshness across outlets; support bakery operations within the kitchen; work with the culinary team to meet guest expectations and daily production requirements; manage assigned tasks for timely preparation and delivery; assist in planning production schedules and maintaining stock levels of baking ingredients; monitor waste and maintain cost control within the bakery; uphold strict hygiene, food safety, and HACCP standards; ensure proper storage and handling of ingredients and finished products; continue developing baking techniques and introduce creativity in offerings; build positive relationships within the kitchen team and contribute to a professional work environment; minimum education required is a Diploma or certification in Bakery, Pastry Arts, or Culinary Arts; strong knowledge of baking techniques, dough preparation, fermentation, and pastry production; able to follow recipes accurately, manage time, and thrive in a fast-paced setting; attention to detail and creativity in bakery presentation; ability to work effectively as part of a team; physical stamina for early shifts and long hours; basic English communication skills preferred in hotel environments.
