Job Summary
Provide emergency medical and trauma care to patients at onsite construction clinics, performing triage, vital signs, phlebotomy, and rapid screening tests. Administer prescribed first-aid treatments, including splints, oxygen, IV injections, and artificial resuscitation, while dispensing medications per clinician orders. Determine illness or injury extent to establish first aid procedures, communicate with emergency treatment facilities, and maintain medical equipment and supplies. Complete monthly clinical competency training, adhere to HIPAA guidelines, and attend client safety team meetings. Work day shifts Monday through Friday, with one site requiring a 5pm to 2am rotation.
Required Qualifications
- Certification as a Nationally Registered Emergency Medical Technician or Advanced EMT
- CPR/First Aid Certification
- Drug Screen Collection, Breath Alcohol Certification, and Hair and Oral Fluids Collection certifications
- OSHA safety certifications or experience
- ARC/CPR Instructor
- 911 experience
- 3 years
- Must meet credentials in the state of employment in accordance with state requirements and applicable regulations
- High School Diploma or GED
- Degree must be from an accredited college or university
- Ability to work independently and perform well under pressure and make quick decisions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Outstanding customer service skills as well as the ability to deal with people in a manner which shows tact and professionalism
- The ability to properly handle sensitive and confidential information (including HIPAA and PHI) in accordance with federal and state laws and company policies
- Demonstrated medical knowledge, techniques and information needed to treat injuries
- Demonstrated ability to administer first aid/emergency care
- Demonstrated ability to speak effectively and convey information to supervisors, peers and customers
- Demonstrated ability use judgement and perform critical thinking
- Demonstrated intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office such as Word, Excel, Outlook and entry of data into various systems/applications

- Ability to make decisions or solve problems by using logic to identify key facts, explore alternatives, and propose quality solutions
Desired Qualifications
- Fire Fighter experience
- Drug Screen Collection, Breath Alcohol Certification, and Hair and Oral Fluids Collection certifications a plus
- OSHA safety certifications or experience a plus
- ARC/CPR Instructor a plus
