Job Summary
Respond quickly and effectively to on-site medical emergencies, providing first aid and life-saving care while assessing injuries to determine necessary actions. Maintain high clinical standards by accurately documenting all patient treatments and communicating effectively with medical professionals for further instructions. Engage with clients and site personnel regarding workplace incidents, stay aware of changing environments to mitigate risks, and assist Site Safety Managers in promoting a secure work environment. This role requires 911 experience and active EMT or Paramedic licensure, with a schedule from 0600 to 1800 and pay ranging from $30 to $33.
Required Qualifications
- Active EMT or Paramedic license in the applicable state
- Current BLS certification
- At least 2 years of experience in an emergency setting (e.g., ER department or 911 ambulance service)
- 911 experience
- Ability to work independently and make critical decisions under pressure
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Effective working on a team or individually
- Self-motivated and able to manage a small medical clinic
- Ability to respond quickly and prioritize medical and administrative needs
