Job Summary
Provide on-site emergency medical care as an EMT or Paramedic for CAREonsite’s occupational medical services. Responsibilities include responding to on-site medical emergencies, delivering first aid and medical care per policies, assessing injuries/illnesses to determine action, documenting patient assessments and treatments, coordinating with medical professionals and treatment facilities, engaging with site personnel about incidents and hazards, and assisting Site Safety Managers to maintain a safe work environment. Requires active EMT/Paramedic license, current BLS, at least 2 years of emergency-setting experience, and 911 experience; must be capable of independent decision-making and effective communication.
Required Qualifications
- Active EMT or Paramedic license in the applicable state
- Current BLS certification
- At least 2 years of experience in an emergency setting (e.g., ER department or 911 ambulance service)
- 911 experience is required
- Ability to work independently and make critical decisions under pressure
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
