Job Summary
Provide on-site emergency medical care and first aid, respond quickly to on-site medical emergencies, assess injuries and determine course of action, document all patient assessments and treatments, communicate with medical professionals for further instructions, and assist site personnel and Site Safety Managers to maintain a safe work environment. Strong clinical skills, ability to work independently or as part of a team, and adherence to federal/state/local policies are required.
Required Qualifications
- Active EMT or Paramedic license in the applicable state
- Current BLS certification
- At least 2 years of experience in an emergency setting (e.g., ER department or 911 ambulance service)
- 911 experience is required
- Ability to work independently and make critical decisions under pressure
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
