Job Summary
Respond quickly and effectively to on-site medical emergencies by providing first aid and life-saving care in compliance with federal, state, local, and company policies. Assess injuries and illnesses to determine the necessary course of action, then communicate effectively with medical professionals for further instructions. Engage with clients and site personnel regarding workplace incidents and potential hazards while staying aware of the constantly changing worksite environment to identify and mitigate risks. Accurately document all patient assessments and treatments, and assist Site Safety Managers in promoting a safe and secure work environment. This role requires an active EMT or Paramedic license, 911 experience, and the ability to work independently under pressure.
Required Qualifications
- Active EMT or Paramedic license in the applicable state
- Current BLS certification
- At least 2 years of experience in an emergency setting (e.g., ER department or 911 ambulance service)
- 911 experience
