Job Summary
Collaborate with departments to ensure employees receive appropriate care, formulate individualized programs based on health risk assessments, and assist with annual physicals, screenings, and testing. Schedule and complete follow-up exams, coordinate client referrals, and conduct training sessions for regulatory requirements while providing one-on-one counseling and care navigation. Collect and interpret data on program offerings, ensure a safe working environment, and document all visits within electronic medical records. Licensed Emergency Medical Technician or Paramedic with BLS certification required. Base pay ranges from $20 to $28 hourly.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Emergency Medical Technician
- Licensed Paramedic
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS)
- Current BLS Certification
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels throughout an organization
- Ensure business is conducted in a timely, confidential, courteous, and professional manner
- Knowledge of specific disease and lifestyle related topics such as smoking cessation, weight management, nutrition, stress reduction and chronic condition
- Optimistic, understanding, innovative, conscientious
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues, employees, and the public
- May need to travel between clinics
Desired Qualifications
- Ability to work within electronic medical records and other software solutions to register patients, document visits and health education
