Job Summary
Onsite Health Technician at a construction-site clinic, providing patient care and EMS-based services in collaboration with Medcor’s medical and operational leadership. Responsibilities include assessment and treatment of workplace injuries/illnesses per Medcor Care Protocols, case management, RTW program facilitation, and documentation using EMR tools; support for pre-employment and post-offer screenings; participate in daily clinic operations; build internal team relationships; support health and wellness efforts, OSHA record-keeping, and medical charting. Requires valid licensure, CPR/BLS certification, the ability to lift 50 lb, and strong communication; role is PRN with typical construction hours (7:00am–6:00pm, Mon-Fri, with some Saturdays), including potential overnight shifts and extended hours. Construction environment experience and familiarity with EMR software are a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Valid licensure for the position
- Current CPR/BLS
- Be strong enough to lift a 50lb emergency response bag
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Positive and outgoing personality
- Willingness to go above and beyond
- Ability to work in a construction environment (nice to have)
- Experience in emergency medicine or critical care (nice to have)
- Proficiency with computers and EMR software (nice to have)
