Job Summary
Center Medical Specialist at Grifols Plasma Donation Center. Performs donor eligibility evaluations through medical history review, builds rapport with donors, ensures donor and staff confidentiality, educates donors about health, andCounsels on test results. Evaluates donor injuries and adverse events, assists in employee training, administers Hepatitis vaccine program, and manages donor health history to maintain donor suitability. Requires active licensure/certification as an EMT, Paramedic, or LPN with current CPR certification; work involves standing/sitting with physical demands and exposure to biological fluids in a plasma center.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed or certified in the state of employment as EMT, Paramedic, or Licensed Practical Nurse (state requirements)
- Current CPR certification
