Job Summary
Center Medical Specialist role performing donor suitability evaluations, physical examinations, and donor education in Grifols plasma donation centers. Responsibilities include building rapport with donors, maintaining donor and staff confidentiality, evaluating donor injuries/adverse events, managing donor history to ensure ongoing donor suitability, providing counseling on test results, administering the Hepatitis Vaccine program, and assisting in employee training. Requires active state licensure/certification as RN, LPN, LVN, Paramedic, or EMT with CPR certification; environment involves exposure to biological fluids and plasma-center operations.
Required Qualifications
- Educated and currently certified/licensed in the state of employment according to state requirements as a Registered Nurse, Licensed Practical Nurse, Licensed Vocational Nurse, Paramedic, or EMT. Current CPR certification required.
