EMT or Paramedic for Plasma Donation Center

Perform physical examinations and establish medical histories to determine donor suitability. Build rapport with donors to ensure customer satisfaction while ensuring donor and staff confidentiality. Evaluate and manage donor injuries and adverse events, providing education on general health and counseling regarding unacceptable test results. Assist in employee training and administer the Hepatitis Vaccine program. Perform evaluations of illness or medication history to ensure continued donor suitability. Work involves standing and sitting up to four hours daily, with frequent hand movement and occasional bending or twisting.
