EMT

Provide basic life support, including patient assessment, airway management, and use of the automatic defibrillator while driving ambulances to transport patients to medical facilities or homes. Deliver oxygen therapy, lift stretchers, and secure patients for transport. Communicate compassionately with patients, caregivers, and family members, while coordinating with medical facility staff and dispatchers regarding transportation status. Document all transportation activities accurately and maintain clean, orderly vehicles and supplies, including disinfecting equipment between patients. Requires EMT certification, BLS CPR certification, and a valid driver's license. Full-time positions are eligible for a $1,000 retention bonus and $1,500 tuition reimbursement.
