Job Summary
Administer basic life support treatments, safely operate and maintain emergency vehicles, and deliver competent patient care in various settings. Perform equipment checks, maintain station cleanliness, restock supplies, and document information accurately in the charting system. Maintain clear communications with the Dispatch Center and adhere to company protocols while interacting professionally with healthcare personnel. This role includes night shifts for MMT Ambulance, a provider of interfacility ambulance transportation for over 35 years.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Current EMT certification
- Valid driver's license and good driving record
- Current CPR
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to safely operate EMS vehicles and essential equipment
- Ability to bend, sit, kneel, and lift up to 125 lbs
- Ability to push/pull objects over 50 lbs
- Physical agility for safe patient handling in demanding environments
- Ability to tolerate extended periods of driving or riding in an ambulance
- Ability to perform effectively in physically strenuous and emotionally challenging situations
