Job Summary
Administer basic life support treatments, safely operate and maintain emergency vehicles, and deliver competent patient care across various settings. Perform equipment checks, ensure station cleanliness, restock supplies, and maintain clear communications with the Dispatch Center. Document information accurately in the charting system and provide comprehensive reports to assist fellow providers. Adhere to company policies and protocols while maintaining professional behavior. This role supports MMT's mission of efficient, reliable interfacility ambulance transportation for healthcare partners. The team utilizes AI-powered technology and state-of-the-art dispatch centers to ensure on-time, effective operations for our 500+ vehicles and 3,200+ providers.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Current EMT certification
- Valid driver's license and good driving record
- Current CPR
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to safely operate EMS vehicles and essential equipment
- Ability to bend, sit, kneel, and lift up to 125 lbs
- Ability to push/pull objects over 50 lbs
- Physical agility for safe patient handling in demanding environments
- Ability to tolerate extended periods of driving or riding in an ambulance
- Ability to perform effectively in physically strenuous and emotionally challenging situations
