Perform essential general patient care in an outpatient setting by completing comprehensive patient intake, including obtaining vital signs, verifying allergies and medications, and documenting visit reasons. Collect specimens, administer ordered medications and vaccines, clean and sterilize instruments, and ensure exam room readiness while following established clinic workflows. Conduct patient assessments throughout every call, provide appropriate treatment, and make transportation decisions based on protocol and written directives. Transport patients to appropriate facilities, verifying identification and contacting receiving centers prior to delivery. Complete accurate written and electronic Patient Care Reports, leaving copies at every facility. Maintain skill levels by attending 75% of annual departmental training and completing the Skills Competency Fair. Ensure personal, crew, patient, and bystander safety by performing scene size-ups and escalating non-routine issues.
