EMT - Hueytown AL

Conduct physical examinations, establish medical histories, and evaluate donor suitability for plasma donation centers. Build rapport with donors, provide health education, and counsel regarding unacceptable test results. Manage donor injuries, adverse events, and potential hazards while ensuring donor and staff confidentiality. Administer the employee Hepatitis Vaccine program and assist in staff training. Perform evaluations of illness history and medications to ensure continued donor safety. Requires current licensure as an EMT, Paramedic, LPN, or RN, plus CPR certification. Involves standing or sitting for 2–4 hours daily, light lifting up to 50 lbs, and exposure to biological fluids and extreme cold.
