Job Summary
Center Medical Specialist role performing donor suitability assessments, building rapport with donors, ensuring donor/staff confidentiality, educating donors on general health and potential test results, evaluating donor health history and medications, managing donor injuries/adverse events, assisting in employee training, and administering the Hepatitis Vaccine program. Requires licensure/certification in the state of employment as RN, LPN/LVN, Paramedic, or EMT, bilingual English/Spanish, and HS diploma or GED; CPR certification is required. Location in Houston, TX within Grifols plasma center; engaging in donor education, safety, and donor health evaluation with opportunities for career growth and comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Bilingual English/Spanish
- Educated and currently certified/licensed in the state of employment and according to state requirements as a Registered Nurse, Licensed Practical Nurse, Licensed Vocational Nurse, Paramedic, or EMT
- HS diploma or GED
- Current CPR certification
