Job Summary
EMT Ground Transport supports emergency and non-emergency patient transport by delivering high-quality basic life support and stabilization in diverse settings. Key responsibilities include rapid response to calls, patient condition assessment, administration of first aid and CPR, scene stabilization, safe transport to medical facilities, operation of emergency vehicles, coordination with emergency services and families, equipment maintenance and accurate patient documentation. Ongoing professional development and adherence to medical protocols are required to stay current. Preferred practice location details include Intermountain Health St Vincent Regional Hospital, Billings, MT within the CHEMS program in Idaho, with a 40-hour weekly schedule and hourly pay range of $18.75-$24.37.
Required Qualifications
- Successful completion of EMT Basic Course
- Must obtain EMT license in state of operation within 120 days of hire
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers
- Current valid driver license in good standing
