Job Summary
Center Medical Specialist duties include performing physical examinations and medical history reviews to determine donor suitability, building rapport with plasma donors, ensuring donor and staff confidentiality, educating donors about general health and potential test results, evaluating and managing donor injuries and adverse events, counseling on test results, administering the Hepatitis vaccine program, and assisting with employee training within Grifols plasma donation centers.
Required Qualifications
- Educated and currently certified/licensed in the state of employment and according to state requirements as a Registered Nurse, Licensed Practical Nurse, Licensed Vocation Nurse, Paramedic, or EMT. Current CPR certification required.
