Job Summary
Center Medical Specialist role in Grifols plasma donation centers; EMT Basic, Advanced EMT, or Paramedic licensure required with CPR certification. Responsibilities include performing physical examinations and medical history to determine donor suitability, educating donors on health and safety, managing donor injuries/adverse events, ensuring donor/staff confidentiality, administering the Hepatitis vaccine program, and training employees. Locations include Griffith, IN and Crown Point, IN (plasma center environments with exposure to biological fluids).
Required Qualifications
- Educated and currently certified/licensed in the state of employment according to state requirements as a Registered Nurse, Licensed Practical Nurse, Licensed Vocational Nurse, Paramedic, or EMT.
- Current CPR certification required.
