Perform physical examinations and establish medical histories to determine donor suitability for plasma donation centers. Build rapport with donors to ensure customer satisfaction while evaluating and managing donor injuries and adverse events. Provide donor education regarding general health and counseling for unacceptable test results, ensuring confidentiality and safety from potential hazards. Administer the employee Hepatitis Vaccine program and assist in staff training. Work requires standing or sitting for 2 to 4 hours daily, with light lifting up to 50 lbs and exposure to biological fluids and extreme cold.
