Conduct thorough patient assessments and provide basic life support care in accordance with New Jersey Statewide EMS Protocols and medical command directives. Operate an ambulance safely while maintaining situational awareness, defensive driving techniques, and equipment readiness. Accurately document patient interventions and transfer details using the electronic patient care reporting system, ensuring compliance with regulatory and legal standards. Perform shift start vehicle and equipment checks, replenish supplies, and follow infection control protocols for decontamination. Actively participate in training new staff and students, offering mentorship and constructive feedback to enhance clinical competency.
