Job Summary
Provide basic life support (BLS) within the EMT scope of practice; safely operate and maintain emergency vehicles in accordance with state and local regulations; deliver competent, compassionate patient care in a variety of transport and clinical settings; apply EMS protocols and procedures effectively in practical situations; communicate professionally with patients, families and healthcare personnel; document patient care accurately in our electronic charting system; assist fellow EMS providers and provide thorough handoff reports; maintain equipment, ensure vehicle cleanliness, and restock supplies; demonstrate ethical conduct and commitment to patient care and safety.
Required Qualifications
- Current EMT certification (state-specific requirements apply)
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
