EMT / EMTB or EMT Advanced - Bilingual in Spanish

Conduct physical examinations and establish medical histories to determine donor suitability at the plasma center. Build rapport with donors to ensure satisfaction while providing education on general health and counseling regarding unacceptable test results. Evaluate and manage donor injuries, adverse events, and any history of illness or medications to ensure continued donor suitability. Ensure donor and staff confidentiality and administer the employee Hepatitis Vaccine program. Assist in employee training and perform evaluations of potential hazards. Perform work involving standing and sitting for up to four hours daily, with exposure to biological fluids, electrical equipment, and extreme cold below 32 degrees F. Requires current EMTB or EMTA certification, CPR certification, and bilingual Spanish skills.
