Job Summary
Assess patients, determine necessary care, and deliver emergency services using appropriate medical techniques and equipment. Document patient information, condition, and treatment while maintaining confidentiality. Operate an ambulance in conjunction with applicable safety policies and traffic laws. Collaborate professionally with allied health personnel and fellow EMTs. Provide a safe, clean, and well-stocked environment for patients. Starting pay is $20.35 to $24.32 per hour based on experience. Candidates must hold NY State EMT certification, Nassau and Suffolk REMAC credentials, and CPR/BLS certification. Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
- State Driver's License
- NY State EMT certification
- Nassau and Suffolk REMAC credentials
- CPR/BLS certification
- Driving record in compliance with company policy
- Pass Physical Ability Test (PAT)
